ExecProd in LA

Before leaving on his visit to LA, EP Jeffrey Gold spoke at length with sound editor and sound designer Jim LeBrecht (The Devil and Daniel Johnston, Daughter from Danang) about the sound editing/sound mixing ideas for Pigweed. He flew into LA Thursday morning and is in Beverly Hills staying with producer friend Deborah Mozer (GirlsAreBiggerThanBoys) and actor Sila Agavale (Darkroom). Staying behind, braving the capricious weather, director Gabriel Lakey is continuing to edit the trailer. Executive producer Jeffrey Gold will be having dinner on Saturday with Grammy award-winning composer Merv Warren (A Raisin in the Sun), whom he met at the BMI Composers Roundtable at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, and award-winning film composer Vincent Gillioz, whom he knows from the 2006 Park City Film Music Festival.
